Scope and contact

This policy describes how Recallport / Otto Store processes data for this storefront and its secure digital delivery service. Privacy questions may be sent to support@recallport.cc.

Purchase and delivery data

For completed purchases, the delivery service may process the Paddle transaction ID, Paddle customer ID, trusted customer email when provided by Paddle, product ID, price ID, quantity, currency, amount, payment status, entitlement status, event timestamps, and a one-way SHA-256 claim-secret hash.

The raw buyer claim secret remains in the purchasing browser session. It is not stored in the delivery database, placed in a URL, or logged. Download tokens are short-lived and are not stored as buyer credentials.

Payments

Paddle processes checkout as merchant of record. Otto Store does not receive or store full payment card numbers. Paddle processes purchase data under the notices and terms presented during checkout.

Purposes and legal bases

Data is used to verify payment, deliver the product, prevent duplicate or unauthorized delivery, handle refunds and chargebacks, provide support, secure the service, and comply with legal obligations. Depending on applicable law, processing is based on performance of the purchase contract, legitimate interests in security and fraud prevention, and legal obligations.

Retention

Transaction, webhook, and entitlement records are retained for as long as reasonably necessary to deliver purchases, maintain access and revocation state, resolve support or payment disputes, and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. Records are deleted or anonymized when no longer required.

Service providers

Paddle provides checkout, payment, tax, invoicing, and merchant-of-record services. Cloudflare provides website hosting, Worker execution, D1 database, DNS/TLS, and private R2 object storage. These providers may process data in countries where they operate, subject to their applicable safeguards.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing, and to complain to a data protection authority. Contact support to make a request. Some transaction data may need to be retained where law requires it.

Marketing and saved payment methods

Otto Store does not enable marketing consent or saved payment methods in this checkout implementation.
